About Theodore Front Musical Literature

This site was designed primarily for academic libraries and their professional librarians. We of course welcome musicians and music lovers from all over as well! Our goal is to provide easy access to performing and study music editions as well as historical, biographical and theoretical monographs (books).

Our extensive offerings include both foreign and domestic music-related books, print music, compact discs, LPs, and DVD/Blu-ray titles from publishers all over the world. We have recently added up to date listings of newly published musicological and collected works editions. If, however, there is a title you cannot find, make sure to let us know!

We are proud to be the oldest established sheet music and music book dealer in the Western United States for both new and antiquarian material. In July of 2023, Theodore Front Musical Literature was acquired by Ficks Music but continues to operate as its own brand.
