In one movement. With a prelude in English and German. Ponce dedicated this little piece to Andrés Segovia, who performed it in the early 1930s. It was long thought to be a work by Weiss. The autograph is no longer extant. The primary source for this edition is Ponce's autograph of a duo version of the work. Segovia's recorded version of the solo was also consulted.
