In one movement. With program, performance and biographical notes. Commissioned and dedicated to the memory of Boyd M. McKeown, former Director of Bands at Marietta High School in Georgia. The music makes use of a theme by Haydn which became the Austrian national anthem, as well as the Alma Mater of McKeown's school.
