In one movement. With program notes. Commissioned by the United States Air Force Band, The Chief's Own. Dedicated to the men and women at the AFRL, Micro-Aviary at Wright-Patterson AFB. Premiered at the 2012 Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic. This work was inspired by images of robotic birds and insects from Isaac Asimov's short story, That Thou Art Mindful of Them. Duration ca. 6 minutes.
