Commissioned by Osmo Vänskä and the Minnesota Orchestra for the Orchestra's centennial. Premiered in Minneapolis, April 2011 by pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet and the Minnesota Orchestra. This work is based on the structure of the Rosary, and follows a set of meditations released by Pope John Paul II in 2002. Duration ca. 25 minutes. Two copies are needed for performance.
