Windswept Peaks : For Clarinet, Violin, Violoncello and Piano (1995).

Composed between May 1989 and June 1990, the piece was a consortium commission by the Aeolian Chamber Players, and was conceived as a double duo for violin/ cello and clarinet/piano. It is based, structurally, on the philosophy of the I Ching, or the Book of Change. Program note by the composer.
