This work is comprised primarily of a set of four rounds, and is designed to offer new perspective on Lakota sweat-lodge ceremonies. When sung, the music is performed in the Lakota language. Includes a preface and copious performance notes. Commissioned by Mariana Gariazzo for the National Flute Associaion Outreach Committee. Premiered in Salt Lake City, 2019.
