The Campanula ,a stringed instrument invented in 1985, uses four bowed strings and 16 strings which run parallel to the fingerboard, creating sympathetic vibrations. Denhoff premiered this work with Martin Zehn in October 2003. The music can also be played on cello. Duration ca. 13 min.
