In three movements. With an introduction by Serena Agostini in French, English and Italian. Although the 1947 first edition of this work claimed that Casadesus reconstructed this music from a 1768 concerto by J. C. Bach, the piece was actually composed by Casadesus himself. He composed several works in the so-called ancient style and attributed them to past composers. Still, the music remains popular with both cellists and viola players.
