This is the first edition of this concerto by Halvorsen, which was composed in 1907 for Canadian violinist Kathleen Parlow. Previously thought to be lost, a copy of the score and parts for this work was discovered in 2015 in the Kathleen Parlow Collection of the Toronto University Library.
