In three movements: I. Blooming Fields -- II. Serenity -- III. Progress Blues. With program, performance and biographical notes. Composed for flutist Susan Hoeppner. Premiered by Susan Hoeppner and the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra in Otsu City, August 2011. The first two movements are dedicated to the memory of friends of the composer, while the third is in memory of the victims of the 2011 Japanese tsunami.
