Commissioned by the Boston New Art Bassoon Ensemble, and dedicated to David and Mildred Greene. Premiered in 1963 by the Boston New Art Bassoon Ensemble with mezzo Dolores Fox. The music is in three movements; only the last movement uses voice. Text is attributed only to H.D.
