Zuccari's 1762 publication contained twelve Adagios in various keys, for violin (flute/oboe) and continuo. This edition contains an introduction in English and German by Christopher Hogwood, and textual notes. It was printed in London by A. Hummell. Zuccari's edition contained two melody lines; one with symbols for the various ornaments, and another with the ornaments written out to show how they should be performed.
